Workshops
Talking Dirty.
Do you wish you could whisper sweet, nasty things to your partner, but the cat has your tongue? Are you a confident speaker at dinner parties, but less so in the bedroom? Are you already a confident dirty talker but looking to expand your repertoire? If so, this workshop is for you! This workshop will involve engaging in fun, interactive activities to help participants think about different types of dirty talk that can be used to enhance sexual interactions. We will explore the type of sexy language that can stimulate a partner before a sexual encounter, enhance stimulation during an encounter and can make an encounter memorable post-hookup. Participants will leave the workshop with the confidence and vocabulary to stimulate themselves and their partners through expanding their erotic vernacular and gaining confidence in their sexual communication.
How to Support Survivors of Sexual Violence.
This training will teach attendees how to support survivors of sexual violence. Using research on the neurobiology of trauma and role play, participants will be given the tools to be active, thoughtful listeners and learn how to embrace the discomfort and truly be a source of support for a survivor of violence.
Consent Workshop.
This workshop will explore how to realistically and thoughtfully navigate consent in the era of #metoo. We will discuss how to both verbally and non-verbally assess consent as well as how to express and accept a “no.” Rape culture, victim blaming and broader social structures around sexuality and how it relates to consent will also be discussed. This session will conclude with an analysis of how best to respond to some of the “grey area” scenarios, where consent can be unclear.
Sexual Communication Workshop.
Have you ever been afraid to tell your partner what you like? Stuck in a situation where your partner is rubbing inches from your clitoris? Getting the world's worst hand job? Not able to discuss it with your partner? We live in a society that often doesn’t prioritize sexual communication. In this workshop, we will engage in activities and games that provide attendees with the tools to communicate better during sexual encounters.
Sexual Anatomy 101.
Having an understanding of our sexual anatomy increases our ability to please and experience pleasure. In this workshop, we will explore biological sex similarities and differences, focusing most on the body parts that enable us to experience pleasure. We will explore common myths when it comes to sexual anatomy and discuss the organ that is the key to pleasure for both sexes—your brain. This workshop can be tailored to any age group, from preschool audiences to adults.
Pornography.
What does pornography teach us about what sex should look like? What does it show us about foreplay, arousal, orgasm and sexual communication? Hear from a writer at Pornhub, regarding what assumptions about sex a generation raised on pornography may have and how this may impact real world sexual encounters.
Sexual Harassment Training.
This workshop will explore how to foster a positive and respectful working environment. Through utilizing an intersectional lens and discussing broader social issues of gender and power, this workshop will empower employees to spot symptoms of hostility. Employees will be given the tools to stand up for themselves, be an active bystander and work toward a lasting culture of inclusion.
Jealousy and Polyamory.
With the ever-changing dating scene, the types of relationships that individuals choose to engage in have become increasingly more complex. People are engaging in sex without romance, romance without sex, romance with more than one partner—the list goes on. In this session we will explore some of the different types of relationships that have become increasingly more popular in recent years and explore how best to decide what type of relationship is right for you. We will then explore some techniques to successfully engage in non-traditional relationships including how to manage jealousy and how to communicate with partners about other relationships.
Sex Party Etiquette.
Are you interested in attending a sex party but don’t know what to expect? Have you been to sex parties but are still unsure of the best way to interact with others? This workshop will explore how to navigate play parties whether attending with partners or solo, how to ensure enthusiastic consent when in a sex positive space and how to set boundaries so that yourself and others are comfortable.
Safer Sex Workshop.
In this sex positive workshop, participants will learn how to become confident in making informed decisions when it comes to sex. Participants will discuss safer sex practices, practice how to use each method, and learn how to introduce safety in fun and sexy ways. We will engage in role-play and skill building exercises, exploring how LGBTQIA+, straight folks, and those with disabilities can maximize pleasure while being safety conscious. This workshop can be tailored to any age group, from preschool audiences to adults.
Maximizing Pleasure For People With Vulvas.
Why do so many people with vulvas struggle to achieve pleasure and orgasm, especially during partnered sex? Vulvas don’t get a lot of focus in sex education, porn, and pop culture, and we often learn about sex from media made by cis men, for cis men. This workshop will explore the unique pleasure that people with vulvas are able to experience such as ejaculation, cervical stimulation, and a number of different types of orgasms. You will leave this workshop with a better understanding of the science of arousal and the practical skills to explore your body or your partner’s body.
